<p>So do we attach our resume to all of our applications or the common app? I know certain schools definitely do not want your resume, which is weird, but do most want it attached? </p>

<p>From what I heard, you don’t need a resume. Apparently, admission officers think resumes as pretentious and unnecessary. Chances are, they probably won’t even read it. Just what I heard through the grapevines though.</p>
<p>However, it does make sense. Limiting you to the 8 spaces provided in the CommonApp forces you to think about and list what you’re most dedicated at. Nobody at high school needs a resume yet. I attached a resume when I applied, and thinking back, wish I hadn’t.</p>
