Hey everyone, I'm new...and freaking out about college acceptances of course. I have already been accepted to Villanova, Boston College, Notre Dame, and Georgetown, but am waiting anxiously to hear from Brown and Yale. Could someone just let me know my chances so when I receive rejection letters I won't fall over dead or something? Thaaanks.

Okay. My stats. Here we go.

GPA: 98.9
Class Rank: 1 or 2 out of 93 (I go to a really small school...)
SATs: 2270
Verbal: 800
Math: 710
Writing: 760

I think my math would have been higher if my idiotic T1-83 hadn't decided to run out of batteries. Not that that matters, I was just too lazy to go through the entire SATs ordeal again.

For my entire high school career I've taken the highest-level courses available, honors and all that stuff. Except for theology - I go to a private school where they make us take theology, and there's no Honors Guided Meditation or anything.

Junior Year APs:
Physics B: 4
French Language: 4
US History: 5

Current APs:
Biology, Calculus, English Literature, Psychology, European History
(I'm expecting to do relatively well on the exams; I currently have above a 95 in all of these classes.)
Other courses for this year: theology (of course), orchestra, phys ed

And now the extra-curriculars...

- Drama Club Vice President (9-12)
- School Musicals (9-12)

- National Honor Society (11-12)
- School Orchestra (9-12, elected President); flute and piccolo
- Varsity Cross Country (9-10; MVP)

Volunteer work:

- School-related camps (10-12)
- Religious Ed Teacher (12)
- Birthright Volunteer (12)

Work Experience:
- Babysitting (9-10)

- Swim Instructor (10-12)

I've also won a bunch of awards that I won't bore you with here, random leadership things and Susan B. Anthony essay contests and fun stuff like that.

I can be relatively certain of excellent teacher and guidance counselor recommendations - one teacher has known and loved me since 8th grade, and the other consistently compliments me on my writing and determination. My essays received glowing remarks from everyone I showed them to, and they show diverse sides of my personality (for Yale, one is about my passion for rowing, and the other is about how my brother and I bond over listening to the B-52s).

Sooo there you have it, thanks to anyone who looks at this, and you can be brutal. Thanks!
