<p>Hi everyone! My name is Allyson and I live in Texas. and i've been reading this board for so many months now. I had complications getting my account activated but now it seems to be working. I am enjoying everyone's posts and learning so much. I am 19 but am still doing High School work. I took care my grandparents the last two years. It will take me awhile to go back and finish but I definitely do want my highschool dipolma. I am looking at all the different colleges right now though it will still be quite awhile. I have been doing theatre off and on since I was 13. This has always been my dream to go into a theatre career of some sort. I love to perform and also am interested in opening my own theatre company or managing one. Done a few acting camps in Texas as well. I have just found a really great vocal teacher who just moved here. I feel that I am making alot of good progress. My big concern right now is I need to find an acting coach in Texas. I am willing to drive to go to lessons at some point or if I can find one near my town that would be wonderful too. If anyone knows of anybody. I would greatly appreciate it very much. This is such a wonderful resource. Being able to have all this info at my fingertips. I hope to get to talk to you all now since my account is working. Any advice or suggestions are much appreciated!</p>
<p>I live in TX too, and my name is Allison as well :)... kinda crazy! Anyway, I'm in the Dallas area..if you are anywhere around there, I know of some theatre and MT companies and performing groups but not any private teachers really. Sorry I couldn't help too much, but if you want any names of companies I can recommend some..and I can give you tons of dance studios lol (I'm mainly a dancer). Good Luck! :)</p>

Try to PM Mary Anna, she's an acting coach and I believe she live/works in TX. Even if she's not in your area she may be able to name a few people who are. Her students are very accompished.</p>
