<p>no weight system here, i've never been at a school with a weight system so that always confuses me on here</p>
<p>most top lac's are, relatively speaking, difficult sure...oberlin usually ranks around #20 (last time i checked, might have moved a couple of spots either way) in LAC's...however, i can say with a good deal of confidence that oberlin is a good deal tougher than lots of the schools ahead of it in the rankings</p>
<p>While dbj is harsh, I would have to agree with one of his points, it is going to be very difficult to transfer to the level colleges you're looking at due to your 3.2 UW HS gpa. As a sop transfer, your HS record and test scores will carry the most weight as you will only have completed one sem/qt of college work by the time you apply. Because of this, it is hard to "transfer up" as a sop. It is a much more reasonable expectation as a jr transfer after you have shown marked improvement in your college record.</p>

<p>im so thankful of this board, i have been able to communicate with some other yale transfer hopefuls and been able to receive advice on my personal statement</p>
