Hi I'm applying to Parsons for fashion design. I would really appreciate it if you could give me some advice on my portfolio. Stronger pieces, weaker ones, anything would be really helpful. Thanks! walk like a woman, talk like a man: Parsons Application Portfolio

I love your portfolio but I would have to say your strongest peices are the paintings and sketches. I would suggest for you to have more of them like Anna, which is a gorgeous peice and make the sketches of the woman face on the board look more complete or try doing one like that showing passion between a man and a woman.
All however are nice, showing you have talent and explore different mediums which is always good.

hell yeah, sigur ros and aphex twin!

anyways, are you applying as a freshmen? i think the sculptural pieces are your strongest. especially the wood one where there's a lighting inside of it.

I agree, 3D is your strongest.

Anna and Buddy are my two favorites.
I think if you tried to have a varity of both 3D and 2D pieces your portfolio would be very strong.

Yes I am applying as a freshman and thank you beari, ablazex, emifinan and brianm02 so much for your advice and comments! :)

brianm02 I think your portfolio is really strong. You're obviously really good at drawing and your sculptures are also really interesting. I especially love the glazes you used on Vessel of Neptune. Jungle is also really cool, you have really cool pieces haha is what I'm going to generally say about your stuff.
