i have had a part time job for almost 2 years

i was sponsored to attend a trip representing my town last summer

Also, I should mention that I don't think I had a great personal statement. So that might hurt me and also I know of at least 4 people from my school who got in early action. So that might affect me too because I"m out of state.

hmm i can't think of anything else but JMU is my number one! I would love it if someone could tell my my chances.

JMU’s admission decisions are often unpredictable. Based off your stats I’d say you have a great shot at getting in. The biggest thing they look at is your GPA which is decent and you have good extracurriculars. I currently am a freshmen at JMU and last year I was accepted with stats were a little bit below yours and I was oos. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

i heard oos is easier to get in than in-state… i may be wrong tho. i’m oos as well and we have similar stats (3.6 gpa 1890 sat). a bunch of kids from my school got in with those stats and even lower last year so i’m hoping we’re both fine also their website says that RD is less competitive than EA which is good. where else did you apply??

ahh i hope! that makes me feel better…let me know if you get in! i read that too and i think it will benefit us. aside from jmu i applied to udel, umd, va tech, penn state, rutgers and pittsburgh. rutgers is the only one i have heard back from and i got in. how about you?
