What is your CSU GPA?
3.58
You stated your unweighted GPA is 3.58. What is the capped weighted CSU GPA, the same?
omg sorry! yea my csu gpa is 3.58 I probably mixed it up in my head when I was writing the forum
Are you within the local service area for either school?
I cannot find any information regarding stats, admit rates etc… for Sac State other that it is an impacted program meaning very competitive and 3.58 might be competitive or not?
SFSU had some admit data for 2020 Pre-Nursing: 1202 applicants and 164 admitted.
Again an impacted and competitive program.
There is really no way to chance since you will be competing with all Pre-Nursing applicants so it will depend upon how you compare overall.
Have been admitted to any other schools?
There are several paths to become a Nurse so if you are not accepted, there are other options.
Best of luck.
I don’t have a link to prove it but, I have seen presentations noting that the avg GPA for nursing admits at Sac is above 4.0 so, that seems like a pretty unlikely target. My sense is that SF is similarly competitive.
good luck.
I just got an acceptance letter from Sac, so I am just waiting on San Fran now. Besides them, I have gotten into Concordia uni in Irvine, Grand Canyon University, and The University of Hawaii Manoa.
Congratulations on your acceptances and best of luck with SFSU.
Congrats!
