so, like a 31ish?

not to turn this into a chance thread, but does a 35 act, 3.7 unweighted gpa (all honors/APs), and good ECs (sports, speech team, robotics, leadership in community service/yearbook) give me a good shot at Michigan and Northwestern? (girl in engineering)

@liv4physicz I think you’re good but maybe not for scholarships since those schools are really pricey. I have two friends going to U of M with 34’s and 4.2’s weighted but not all the EC’s you have.

dear john,

are they OOS? i’m in-state my weighted is probably above a 4.2 also, if i had to estimate.
and needless to say, since im from MI, cost isnt an issue.

northwestern doesnt give merit-based scholarships anyway (only need-based, which i wouldnt qualify for). i just LOVE it. so you think i can get into both??

Writing: 11/12 or 12/12 - of the three ACT prompts, this was by far my favorite. I feel like I completely aced it. The first two, I wasn’t so confident, but I got an 11 and a 12. So hopefully, this turns out to be another 12.

I got a 32 on my first two attempts, and was really hoping to get a 33. Then, I saw the math section. Even with a very lenient curve, I probably still got a 31-32 composite. Fawk. I guess I have to take it again. </3

@CantConcentrate – There is absolutely no way s/he would get a 26 Science with having missed only 4. The lowest you’d be able to get on Science with -4 would probably be a 30, but even that’s stretching it since Science wasn’t very easy this time.
