<p>Hi everybody I am a senior in hs, and I reallly thought i had a great chance at being admitted to SUNY Buffalo , so i had only my mind set to go there... but unfortunately I didn't get in. And now i am trying to go to either a 2 year or 4 year local college and transfer. I applied to couple of CUNY's like Hunter, Queens. I have couple of questions i would like to ask... Would it be better to go to a community college? if so, which community college in NY do you recommend? and how's westchester? Furthermore, is it better to transfer after 1 year or 2 years? would i be able to receive 24 credit hours after my first year? well any reply would be appreciated.... thanks</p>
<p>Definitely go for the 4 yr colleges. If you get into CUNYs definitely go for it. What are your stats btw?</p>
<p>Just make sure you can make yourself a competitive applicant when you transfer.</p>
