im a junior and i have 8 classes in all 9 periods.that means i have to go to school by 7:11 and get off at 2:40.
the classes that i have:

AP chemistry (2 periods)
Physics Honor
Eng
Spanish Honor
Pre-calculus
Health
AP US history
String Orchestra

i feel so tough with these classes, and the thing is I do not have lunch. I could not really handle these classes really well.and my question is,should i drop my orchestra class so that i can get off earlier therefore my pressure will not be so bad? (I sometimes need to spend time on practicing and having a rehersal at home and school.)

You should drop one of them so that you can have lunch. When do you plan on eating during the day?

Why don't you have lunch? If you have to drop a class to get a lunch period, I'd drop it. I wouldn't drop the orchestra class though, because getting home a little earlier isn't going to change much. Orchestra is [hopefully] a pretty low-stress kind of class anyway, and if you really think you need to drop SOMETHING, drop a real class. If anything, I'd drop physics [although I do have a personal vendetta against it... lol]

...............

It's like, you're ALLOWED to DROP lunch? The very thought is retarded and a clear "wth" in the first place IMO..

I don't believe my eyes in seeing a bunch of people here with no lunches...what have schools become.

I don't know. I always thought it was like a national law that you had to have lunch in your schedule. If it's not, it really should be. Aren't our diets screwed up enough?

Dropping lunch here (and the very thought itself) as well as most of the areas I've been to, it's akin to something like "Oh let's just drop Math/science/history/english and fill it up with 7 PE classes".

I never thought it was possible...

My school has a "walking" class and they actually get grades.

I had no lunch in my senior year because I took all APs. However, I did bring a meal drink every day to drink around 5th perioid.

No lunch = messed up.

I'd probably take a class over lunch if I could. But that's just me. If you truly want a lunch, go ahead and drop something. I like your schedule, but that doesn't mean you have to like it, too.

Drop an actual class if you want any less stress.

At my school you used to be able to drop lunch, but you would just go get your food during a lunch period and eat in class. You had a pass to skip in line.
I say drop chem or physics and just take it next year.

no lunch= not good for your health. Personally, sacrificing health for another class to make the transcript look good is so not worth it.
