Hi… about how many credits do you get after your freshman year in college? around 24?

<p>I took 13 credits in my first semester, but dropped 4. I am taking 17 credits this semester and plan on takng 6-10 credits this summer to make up for the first semester and to get ahead.</p>

<p>I'll assume you took 12 a semester, which is the minimum requirement to stay on a parent's health insurance plan in most cases.</p>
<p>Most schools seem to deem 15 credits as a "normal load," which is bull in my opinion. Given my lack of procrastination, I am ahead of all my classes with 17 credits, woo hoo.</p>
