<p>and an a.p class. I'm taking my act in June. Another question, will being a 1st generation 4 </p>
<p>year university applicant help me in admissions. Is this good for most universities in California, </p>
<p>Oregon , Washington, Arizona and New mexico? kinda nervous.</p>

<p>im not looking to get into uc schools, just cal states , biola , out of state i want to go to oregon st asu, or the university of new mexico</p>
<p>^I’m not an expert, but I definitely think you’ll be good for most of the schools you listed.</p>
<p>You sound like a great applicant for those schools. A solid ACT will make you a lot more competitive, and could win you some decent scholarships as well.</p>

I think the average weighted GPA for UCs is over 4.0!!!</p>
<p>yeah but if thats his unweighted (3.7) then he has a chance at like UCSB</p>
