<p>Well, im a sophmore. I just looked around some of the posts and came accross one that said that colleges don't really care about the writing score on the SAT. I wanted to make sure if that was true or not, considering the fact that I'm likely to score an 800 in that section. :(</p>
<p>That is too much of a generalization. Many colleges now do consider the writing score. Nevertheless, there are still a lot that are not mainly because the section is still new and they want to see a few or more years of actual scores before determining whether and how to use it.</p>
<p>Consider this a good question for admissions reps when you see them at college fairs or need to email them.</p>

<p>An 800 never looks too bad on an application : )</p>
