<p>You should first research what “pre-med studies” actually is. Based on your questions, you have misconceptions.</p>
<p>Medical schools require their applicants to excel in a core group of pre-requisite undergrad classes. Do that, graduate from college, and knock out the MCAT and you’ll be ready to apply. </p>
<p>You can major in French literature or Chemical Engineering or Accounting at your nearby State school and still be a fantastic med school applicant.</p>
