Hi there! Help please? :)

Hi there everyone, my name is Julia I am American Chinese/Japanese. I'm an 11th year at the International School of Beijing and I'm currently doing the IB Diploma but am thinking of switching to certificate so I can focus more on improving my gpa.

These are the classes I am taking:
HL Biology
HL Art
HL History

SL Math Studies
SL English
BSL Chinese

*My current GPA is 3.49 :/ weighted! *

Activities:
* 2 yrs of Beiwatch (Beimun) It's our school newspaper for the Model United Nations conferences
* Co-founded a charity organization at my school called "Painting Pandas" We are donating all funds to the Blue Skies Healing Home for Disabled Children

And that's it for now! I've been in an after-school activity called Global Information but I thought it was pretty pointless and wasn't going anywhere so I quit.

Schools I'm thinking of applying to:
UCLA
USC
UCI
UC Santa Barbara
UC Riverside (safety)
Pepperdine University
Boston University
Trinity University
UC Davis

Oh yeah and I haven't taken my SATS yet but will in May
And I am open to any other suggestions of unis I should check out in California :) Thanks!

gpa little on the low side but if u get a high score on the SATs u will be fine and apply to privates because u have a better shot at them than UCs. the reason is that no matter how qualified u r UCs tend to take kids from california cause CALIFORNIA rocks. apply to privates like st. marys, duke, north carolina, ivies and liberal arts colleges. good luck

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that I am a California resident, born and raised but haven't been living there for the past year. Would that make a difference? And thanks :)

*** Another EC I forgot to mention was that I design and made clothes for my school's Charity Fashion Show**

bump bump bump
