• 33 ACT, taking it again, should be able to improve my score one or two points
• 3. 8 UW GPA
• 4.05 Weighted GPA
• 3 AP 7 Honors class (APUSH, BIO, Lang)
EC
• Internship at a commercial real estate firm this summer
• 3 years of Varsity Debate (I have been named captain for next year)
• Tennis (4 years varsity)
• Volunteering w/ special needs kids since 7th grade
• Class Treasurer (4 years)
• Head of community service for most of NJ and some of NY in my religious youth group
• Helped start a nonprofit and helped organize a toy drive for said nonprofit
• Been investing in the stock market since 7th grade, have seen some substantial gains
• Business Club
Hello. As somebody who has been through the process, everything looks solid, but if a lot of students from your area apply there, the standards may be more rigorous which would lower your chances. It all depends on your school district.
Thanks for the reply! I’m from the Albany school district if that helps. I forgot to add this in earlier but I’m not the head of community service for most of NJ and some of NY in my religious youth group yet. I meant to add that I’m running for the position this year, Hope this gives you a clearer picture.
