Hidden Costs to Attending Harvard

Most of you are probably aware of the recent price hike in postage stamps. Many of you have probably also noticed that Harvard had, unfortunately, attached only a 37 cent stamp to the attendance notification reply cards sent to accepted applicants. This means that these students would have to affix an additional 2 cent stamp to their reply cards. Needless to say, I am very dismayed by a hidden cost arising this early in the game.

Are you suggesting that a USPS postage stamp increase is some sort of hidden cost? Get real! Colleges can't control price increases, just like they can't control when you decide to mail in your reply card. The fact that Harvard attached any postage is more than a college is required to do!

I can't believe that someone on CC is whining about two cents !!!

i'm pretty sure dualityim was kidding...

loooooooooool

hahahah what I can't believe is that someone didn't get the joke.

Dude i was just thinking about the same thing!
I forgot to mail it today, and the local mail store was sold out of 2c stamps, so I can't mail my notification yet... xD

However, if you feel like waiting until the RD packages come out, you'll probably get another one... with a 39c stamp affixed. ;)

yeah, I don't do jokes...I'm totally serious 24/7.

your life sucks then

haha...not!

dudes, the USPS hike increase IS NOT retroactive, meaning as long as long as one buys the stamp before the price hike, as is clearly the case for Harvard, you can still use it...

Yeah, don't take him seriously on this one. He's just giving us his 'two cents'! (Sorry couldn't resist)

"dudes, the USPS hike increase IS NOT retroactive, meaning as long as long as one buys the stamp before the price hike, as is clearly the case for Harvard, you can still use it..."

If this is a joke, it is better than mine.

Yeah... i'm not sure that's true... otherwise why would they be selling all these 2c stamps?

I can tell you it's not true. I just hope THEBIGK was simply jesting.

it's a joke, i noe thebigk well (he got into harvard ea this year by the way), and he frequents the boards to mainly keep up to date on opportunities and make jokes sometimes...his reply was well worth two cents tho, considering he got into harvard...
