High chance for West Point (USMA)??

I've been in US for only 3 years . I am Asian.
BUt as long as I was born in NJ , I am one of the citizens !! hell yea!!! lol
My english is .. well.. I won't say I can speak fluently but it's decent.

WEll. I am going to be a junior this fall.

I started to get interested in USMA which is considered as one of the best colleges existing in united States!

I already took SAT1 in my sophomore year. I got 2150.
(Math 800, CR 660, WR 690)
I am planning to take it again in junior yr.
Range betweeen 2180~ 2230.

MY current GPA is 3.6 (unweighted) with taking 2 APS
I will take 3 APs in junior yr. And I wiill pull my gpa up!
I will maintain at least 3.8
b.c. I've heard that USMA is picky about GPAs rather than Sats

I took 3 SAT subject tests.

Math level 2 : 800
Physics : 800
Korean : 800

and. I will take US history next spring.

My concern is about.. ECs..

I am not demonstrating any strong ECs at this point.

THe only thing I did was "sports"

I was varsity soccer player since 9th grade
and varsity swimmer since 10th grade.
I think I am pretty much athlete because I was a varsity soccer player since 9th grade. and our school won county championship two yrs in a row.
Hopefully, state champion this yr!

and also, I am a statistician in math club.

that's it.

I did some volunteering works in church and small law firms which was located in wall street.

but I think I worked only 100 hrs aggregated.

I think I have to do more ECs to show USMA that I can be a leader.

Is my GPA too low to apply for USMA?
I think 3.6 is insufficient. BUt I think I can make it 3.8 by the end of junior yr.
Also, I want to do more ECs.
I will do JROTC from this fall. BUt I don't know anything else.
WIll "boyscout" community service help me?

Please recommend some EC programs.

AM I in good shape? I truly want to get into USMA
and again, I am an asian.. who has been in this country for only 3 yrs.

hey guy, im from west point (my dad is a prof here) and my family sponsors a bunch of cadets so i inevitably hear about cadets statistics once in awhile. i actually just got back from an Army football game. from what i gather you seem like a solid candidate, JROTC and your sports look very good, raising your GPA would be really good too. in the future, try to aim towards more leadership in your ECs too, as west point is very leadership-oriented, as you could imagine. stay on the right track, and i think you have a very good shot here. also, if you dont make it here, don't worry cuz you could just apply to the USMA prep school which is easier to get into and guarantees admission to west point after a year of training. hopefully you'll make it and come here for r-day and suffer through beast barracks (new cadet basic training)
