High GPA but low class rank????

<p>I am a junior and go to a relatively good high school. My junior class consists of 600 students. Although I have a weighted 4.87 GPA, with only 3 B's throughout all of high school, my class rank is only in the top 7% because there are ALOT of 5.0 students in my class. Is this going to look bad to colleges? Will it make me look like someone that is lazier and not as smart because I am in a school where it is "easier" and "more common" to get a 5.0?</p>

<p>You see, when you say ‘low class rank’, a normal person in the real world would think bottom 50%. A CCer would think barely in the top 30%. You’re in the top 10%. Who in the world told you you have a low class rank?</p>

<p>Yes I get this alot. Sorry that I didnt clear it up. i am aiming for higher-ranked schools like UCLA, Berkeley, and Stanford, so anything below the top 10% I’m guessing would’nt be very impressive.</p>
