<p>I've asked couple of people and everybody is telling me that my sat scores are going to kill me...</p>
<p>I'm an international student, non-US citizen, female
SAT 590(CR) 710(M) 570(W)
600(CR) 730(M) 540(W)
If you add up the highest, it's 1900.
I didn't even know what sat was until last summer...didn't even think about applying to US uni and now I regret that I didn't study harder...</p>
<p>SAT II German with listening 670, math I 770
took world history in dec. 1 but I doubt it'll be over 600 so I'm not sending the scores</p>
<p>TOEFL ibt 111/120</p>
<p>IB predicted 40/42
I moved around a lot so my gpa is kind of weird
All As in 9th gr 1st semester
10th to 11th gr 1st semester I was in asia, a different school system, not horrible but okay grades, no idea how they're going to look at it.
12th gr - IB subjects 6,6,6.5,7,7,7,7
13th grade 1st semester IB- 6,6,7,7,7,7
effort grades all As
In top 10 at a good(i'd say excellent) international school but we only got about 160~170 students in the grade.

piano, school choir, English musical club, English film club, service in the library, working in the PTA bookroom, service for sport banquet and student day fair, peer tutoring in science, art(more like a hobby), yearbook staff and badminton.</p>

I only have awards from school. English Contest - golden award, 9th grade honor roll, academic excellence in english, social studies, math and science (9th gr), 12 gr certificate of distinction, excellence award in english(2) and art(10th and 11th gr)
for Brown application I decided to include more activities and awards from middleschool as well (it's okay?)</p>
<p>I'm applying to Brown, Upenn, Duke, Pomona, Middlebury, Tufts
international relations, international studies or anyway something in social studies.</p>
<p>Didn't apply anywhere ED, all of them RD.</p>
<p>Looking around other threads, people applying to Ivies have nearly perfect sat scores, or at least over 2000. I never heard of anybody being accepted by places that I am applying to with sat score 1900.
Is it completely hopeless?</p>
