<p>Most colleges and universities look at the SAT as a snapshot of a day, but they really concentrate on your GPA since that shows 4 years worth of work. What they don't really want to see is a high SAT and low GPA. That combination tells them that you haven't been putting maximum effort into your studies and that's a better indicator of how well you'll do in college than any standardized test. Better to have the highest GPA you can and a lower SAT</p>
