Ok, this is kind of random, but not really. I wear high heels all the time, usually 3-4 inches. Do any girls here know of high heel shoes/boots that are pretty comfortable to walk around campus in?

BCBGirls Katchen pumps are comfortable and stylish.

They are hard to find in black, though.

at my college the dress is VERY casual, only people with presentations or professional jobs tend to dress up. i dont think anyone really wears heels or fancy outfits on a day to day basis. Most people just wear sweatpants and hoodies.

I can't think of any heels that would be comfortable enough to walk all around a campus regularly in.
I would imagine that collegegirls school is pretty similar to most too.

i wear heels a lot...the most comfortable for me are strappy ones without backs...but as far as brands and stuff go i don't know of any that are just generally comfortable. it sounds obvious, but buying heels that really fit goes a long way. and yeah sometimes the cute ones don't fit in any size. annoying, but worth it to pass them up.

They are not exactly heels, but my Doc Martins have a heel and are platformed higher. Very comfy when worn in, and seem to fit the jeans and sweatshirt look common in college. Also warm and good for winter weather. If you go to the average college that you have to walk a whole lot, you may want to reconsider the heels thing--could get painful by the end of the day.

stuart weitzman 4 inch thick heels are really comfy and stylish. Expensive as well, but worth it.

If your college is very hilly... high heels are a major no-nos because they'll get very painful quick enough if you're walking up and down the hill several times a day.

well i mean i wear platforms a lot too and those are pretty easy on the feet?

I found it amusing that your cc name is twinkletoes :] It goes with the shoes thing

yeah, platformish shoes aren't bad.
I usually just wear like thick bottomed sandles or boots.

these are pretty pricey, but cole haan has a line of shoes made with help from nike, where they're cute and heeled, but they have nike cushioning in the heel and foot part. I have the flats and OMG SO comfortable, I imagine the heels would be good too. worth trying on.

I, too, had to relinquish my collection of 3/4 inch heels when I went to college. No, sadly, the heartbreak may never heal for you.

I have a couple pairs of Via Spiga heels and think they are extremely comfortable and well-crafted. I can walk an entire day in the city without feeling pain. You can always buy the gel insoles for the balls of your feet so that you'll be even more comfortable in your already-comfortable heels; I have a pair of the insoles for every pair of heels.

get wedges. they are comfortable to walk in. or if you can afford manolos, they are comfortable too.

J Crew Boots with the platformed heel... they're nice and comfy.

O Magazine (that's oprah magazine) has a nice article this month (well, Feb, but it's on newsstands now) testing a 100 or so pairs of heels and other shoes (some by Oprah herself!) on comfort. Granted, there are a lot of expensive pairs (Louboutins, Michael Kors, kate spade, etc.) but if you really want quality, you'll pay for it!

check out cutesyshoes.com

pretty comfortable and the prices...are right

I like dese ^___^ i really like feet
