High level student application results

<p>I just though i'd post this, since i would have liked to see it when i was looking at colleges.
SAT: 2230
Reading 770, Math 730, Writing 730
ACT: 33
SAT 2: Math 2: 700, Literature: 690</p>

<p>Attended A Top Midwest Private School and took most rigorous courseload
GPA: 4.56
Rank: 4/200</p>

<p>Essays: Good not great
Recs: Not sure... definately not amazing. not very close with any teachers
ECs: 2 Sports for 3 years each. Big Brothers, Peer Tutor. 100 Service Hours. Led 3 religious retreats for school. Plus a bunch of clubs and random stuff.</p>

<p>All Scholarship were renewable
Tulane: Accepted w/ 24,000 Scholarship
UMiami (FL): Accepted w/ 24,000 Scholarship
Ohio State University: Accepted w/ 2700 Scholarship
Loyola Marymount University (CA): Accepted w/ 17,000 Scholarship</p>

<p>USC: Accepted (very surprised i didn't get a scholarship)
Stanford: Rejected
Washington in St. Louis: Waitlisted (Did not accept)
Pomona College: Accepted</p>

<p>My family makes about 150k a year. Our EFC was 28k.</p>

<p>The only financial aid i recieved was from Pomona for 22k in scholarships.</p>

<p>Decision: Attend Pomona College. Not only was it the best school i got into but it also gave me excelent financial aid, considering i recieved no financial aid (other than loans) from USC or any other school.</p>

<p>Definitely helpful...but maybe you should post this in the "graduated seniors' actual results" thread on the "What are My Chances?" board so it will be with the other posts like this. Congratulations!</p>
