I got a 780 Math and a 620 CR... would colleges rather see 700Math and 700 CR?

I got 800M, 640CR.. I'm in same boat.

Yay! I'm not alone! :D

nope, it all depends on what you say your interests are and what college you are applying to. Like for ivies they like to see consistancy, but liek MIT for me they want like a certain school like prolly atleast 700 something for verbal but like an 800 in math is like a "norm"

So is there no chance for any elite schools for me? Like a school that generally requires a 1400... would they much rather accept a 700M 700CR than a 780M 620CR?

I sure hope! My spread was Math:800 Crit. Reading: 680

dude I got a 700 CR 790 Math and a 630 W
we r definetly in the same boat

Colleges need angular as well as rounded students to create an overall "Well-rounded" class. It also depends on what school you wanna get into, obviously MIT is going to put emphasis on math and science alot more than CR and English

i am part of the club: 790M / 600 R.

This is something I have never been able to find answers on. It is very confusing, b/c my math is above the 75% & my reading is below the 25% at many top schools. I am not sure how this comes into play.

790/740.

Maybe can improve with june SAT? lol.

With all the talk of MIT in this threa right now, I just hope maybe my 710 CR and 730 M will cut it. It seems like my scores are exactly opposite of what this thread was made for but I guess MIT would muh rather see 790M and 650CR than 730 and 710, I don't know... What does everyone think?
