Lots of community service that involves what I want to major in
I also am a 2 sport varsity athlete

My biggest question, however, in regards to me getting in or not, is how much does my GPA matter? The mean GPA that got accepted last year was a 3.3 and ACT was a 23. Obviously this leaves me with a lot of doubt for getting in because of my GPA. So does my GPA get weighted, or looked at less, because of my competitive high school? If a student gets into High Point with a 3.3 GPA (88 average) and a 23 ACT, does that make them a better candidate then me because they go to an easier graded high school? I feel as though this large gap between the GPA and ACT that they have accepted should have to leave them to weigh my GPA at a 3.8 or higher. But of course, it doesn't work that way... or does it? I don't know for sure how much higher they will put my GPA because of my school's difficulty and my ACT score, or if they will even make it higher at all. HPU is my top choice school, and I would very much like to get into it. If you know anyone that was a 2.0-2.4 GPA and around a 27 ACT or 1800 SAT that got in please let me know, thanks!

I coincidentally just got my acceptance letter about an hour after I posted this, lol.

I think you have a slight chance because ACT is good for the college. GPA going to hurt
chance me
