A 3.75 UW GPA is not “mediocre.”
For the higher tier UCs, it’s pretty mediocre
Ya I’d agree that its mediocre for Berkeley and LA but I’m in the same boat. That being said your UC is above 4 and you have very good test scores even for Berkeley. I’d be surprised if you got rejected from any of the schools besides Berkeley and LA but I think you’ll probably get into at least one of the two. I assume you’ve already gotten into SLO but maybe not. I guess Berkeley is probably a high match and LA is a High match/match. All of the others are matches and safeties.
Best of Luck and keep us posted!
You’re set for all of these colleges with the exception of UC Berkeley & UCLA, which in my opinion seem to be high matches for now based on your unweighted GPA (which is emphasized by these two colleges). But, I’d also be surprised if you didn’t get into at least one of the two. Cheers. Chance Back?
Thanks for the chances, @laphysica I did get into Cal Poly, also, I forgot to mention that I received an 800 on the November SAT Math Level 2 Subject Test. Thanks for the chances guys!
Nice job and good luck. Keep us posted.
@gormar099 @coldplayer98 @laphysica Thanks for the chances guys! Here is the final tally:
Accepted:UC Berkeley(!), UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, Cal Poly SLO
Waitlisted: UC Davis, UCLA
Congrats! Are you going to Berkeley or undecided right now?
@gormar099 I will most likley go to Berkeley although UCSB seems quite appealing as well
