High school after O levels?

Hi I studied O levels in Pakistan and now I am back to the states due to family problems.. I was going to stay here now.. I wanted to know if anyone had the same experience of doing 12th in high school after O levels..

I had a few questions in my mind..
Will my credits transfer easily to high school? What's my chances of a good university after that? Will I be able to take IB classes?

You can get into IBDP after O Level’s and there is nothing like credit involved in that. You could also sit A Level’s in the states, its possible.
Your chances depend on your grades.

I want to get into 12th… senior year of high school. Will there be any drawbacks?

I don’t think that will be a very move. O Level is equivalent to Grade 10, so you have to join 11th or IBDP.

hey guys I completed my O levels in pakistan and got 1A’ ,6A and 2B.I have moved to the USA for family issues. Can i get directly into some college even community college without wasting 1 year in highschool

Hi. It’s strange how I have a similar condition. My parents and I have moved to the US and I plan to attend the senior year of high school. Only if that is possible. I have my o levels in 8 subjects. English Urdu math physics bio Chem islamiat(religion) pak studies. One of my friends who moved to US last year with her o levels was able to get Into the senior year and she will be graduating now. I plan to do the same. Wondering if that is possible? Can someone plz help ?

I will also like to mention that O levels is actually 11th grade in Pakistan. I am already 18 for I sat my o level exams last year and had even started my A levels which is the 12th grade. I will have to waste a year by going to high school. Not that I mind for GED seems more like a bad mark on your r

Another of my friends move to Canada with o levels and got into senior year of high school. So I think it is actually possible to get into senior year and finish all your credit requirements within a year

Hello, this might be a little late but i did the exact same thing you did a couple of years ago. Did my Olevels got 8As 2Bs and then started AS but had to move to the US. I enrolled in a high shool and not all of my credits transferred so couldnt get into 12th so i went into 11th. I did fine here. I took some AP classes and then applied to universities. Currently I study at Cornell, but i got into most of my top choices so basically you will be fine if you work hard here as well.

Ive seen someone go to community college after O levels, just sayin
