High school attended- UC Application

<p>In the high school section, it requires that I put my high school (I am from Hong Kong).</p>

<p>It asks for the dates that I attended this high school.
So I put date start: August 2004
Date end: August 2012</p>

<p>And the date that my diploma will be received:
August 2012</p>

<p>But it says that the end date must be the term I am applying for, and I am applying for winter quarter/spring semester 2012 right?</p>

<p>Why doesn’t it let me continue? Did no one else have this problem?</p>

<p>You should be applying for the Fall Quarter/Semester.</p>

<p>It doesn’t allow me to choose that? There is only Fall 2011, but I’m applying for 2012 right?</p>

<p>You cannot apply for winter/spring quarter 2012 on the application. With the exception of UC Merced, the UCs only accept students applying for fall quarter. Only exceptions of getting in in winter/spring is if you were accepted for the fall quarter, but you decided to defer enrollment until the winter/spring quarter.</p>
