This thread is for rising 2013 seniors who talk about their college dreams, applications, etc. Chancing and asking for opinions/advice fits under that category. If you don’t want to chance, then, please, just leave it alone. Thanks! :)

It really doesn’t fit under this category. Just go to the category that’s meant for chancing.

You could also go to my actual thread and chance me there if you’d like.

Help out a fellow 2013er!

Has anyone used PR’s 1,296 ACT Practice Questions to study for the ACT? Was it realistic compared to the real thing? It seems pretty legit.

Also would that plus roughly 5 or so real practice tests be sufficient for studying? I have like 3 months until the test but I really wanna do well in September so I’m starting early.

^That’s what I used. I feel like PR and the real deal was pretty close.
I would try to get in as much practice as possible.
Cal Newport suggest at least 2 dozen practice tests to get a perfect… o.O

^^^^^ Ugh, a chance thread on here? Yuck.

You have no shot at those first 4 or so schools with your SAT score anyways.

Was that the most obnoxious post yet or what?

What non academic things are you guys looking forward to the.most senior year? I’m excited to get out of school early & hopefully use that time to volunteer & work

I just used the red book for ACT.

I’m having a full schedule.

I’m looking forward to having two jobs which will mean more money. My mom is getting me a car so it’ll be nice to be able to drive where I want. Since I’m only taking three AP classes senior year, I’m hoping that I’ll have time to hang out with my friends and go to parties, football games, dinners, etc. I just want to have fun this year.

^ having a car is.amazing! You’ll love it lol as is horrible though -.-

I’m looking forward to the easy class schedule and being able to take my final year of school easy…

Nah its gonna be horrible

Im just really excited to be able to drive to school! Im taking my road test again in 2wks hopefully i wont fail!

@jazz I know! I can’t wait! Of course she’s all I’m not going to buy you this car and then she shows me a car that she thinks is good but I don’t like but hey she’s the one paying for it so I’ll have to accept it.

Ah BTW I meant gas. I love my car, honestly i would’ve preferred the Jeep Liberty of the same year that was there & it was cheaper but my dad said " let’s go with the '03 Rav4 cause its reliable" but of course failed to listen to me when I said it only gets 20 miles to the gallon -_____-

You…have…a Jeep Liberty??? No lie that’s the car I want, but my mom won’t let me get it because of the MPG My dream car is the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in all black. I’ll most likely end of with a Toyota or the new Hyundai Sonata :/

I almost had a jeep liberty lol.

Oh…5 people on my block have Jeeps a couple Commanders, Wranglers, and Liberties. All I can do is stare at them from afar.

& at least yours would be new, I’d take a new Hyundai any day. I should stop though I love my little Rav4 lol. I want a liberty though. Maybe when I go to college :D

Hahaha yea I’ll have to save up for it. Probably when I graduate college.
