Yeah, there’s definitely lots of fields and open spaces. The campus is large and we drove by the wind turbine, and there were just…fields err’where. And the upperclassmen dorms were out there.

Also, just about everyone was rockin’ some UMD swag. Corsairs are good mascots, heh, and they have nice colors.

…wait a second, I think we’re talking about two different UMD’s. awkawkawk.

Lol yeah, I just picked up on that. I’m glad you liked UMass dartmouth…even though I was talking about University of Maryland…haha. They should really not use the same abbreviation for multiple colleges.

That’s happened to me frequently.
Me: Yeah I’m going to UM
Person: I didn’t know you lived in Michigan
Me: What? No I…
Person: You never seemed like a Michigan person.
Me: No. It’s the University of…
Person: How cold does it get? I’m sure you’re used to…
Me: Miami. University of Miami.

just failed my road test…again and now i have to wait two months to retake it and my birthdays in a week so i couldve had my license and i already have a car stupid parallel parking ughh

Man that sucks…luckily Florida removed parallel parking from their test. It doesn’t make sense though because I live on the boardwalk and it’s nothing but parallel parking :/

If it makes you feel better, I failed my permit test then I retook it after the computer told me I failed. I just can’t believe you have to wait TWO months. Here you just can’t retake it on the same day.

Let’s see… In-state, I have GMU and JMU on my list, but those aren’t necessarily desirable places, seeing as they don’t offer a meteorology programs. My ideal colleges at the moment are SUNY at Albany, Purdue, Iowa State, UNC Asheville, and Ohio State.

I need some help you guys with my college list. I live in Washington, but the only one I like in my state is University of Washington (I’m a science buff). I also am applying to Stanford, Cornell, and some HBCU’s (application is free why not?). What are some other great science schools? I do like Boston, but I’m scared I wont fit in. I don’t know too much about the area.

@bunny i am going for biology but i want to go into the research end…im looking at duke and unc bc theyre by research triangle park, uva, umich, notre dame, bc, upenn and possibly vandy/brown/dartmouth/tufts
