<p>My list has pretty much narrowed down to Rice, Yale, Liberty, and Princeton. And out of all of those, Liberty is the new rising star. If I manage to get NMS, I would literally have a full ride, books and all, due to my ACT score and stuff. Plus, I know people there already. And I’m starting to feel too lazy for the ivies. Aaand, other reasons I’ll skip sharing :P</p>
<p>E: And Rice is pretty much there as a backup due to the free application stuff. Oh yeah, and USC as the in-state safety…</p>
<p>EE: Also, maaybe Furman due to free application if done online, but it’s my brother’s alma mater and I’m fairly sure I wouldn’t want to go there…</p>

<p>For the record, I have a slight obsession with Coldplay. Okay, as I’m checking this I’m actually halfway through their 2011 Glastonbury performance on youtube. Maybe it’s a little more than slight. </p>
<p>I can play the piano and the alto sax. I want to start learning guitar soon. Probably as a second semester senior :)</p>

<p>Wow, you guys are so ready… I only have 3 schools for sure that I’m applying to: UW Tacoma, UW Seattle (Honors), Harvey Mudd. Besides that… huh.</p>

Haha, I actually watched it live on TV when it first aired, I think it was on VH1 or something… But yeah, that’s a good one. fwiw I’ve also recorded their ACL concert(s) and protected them on my DVR, bought all the cds, and have a couple of posters in my room

<p>fwiw Liberty just dropped a decent amount in the last few minutes. Their website and materials paint them to be a lot looser than they actually are, haha. I mean, it’s not Bob Jones, but really…</p>
<p>I’m thinking of applying to: Harvard, Brown, Dartmouth, Williams, Yale, Primceton, Bowdoin, Tufts, BC, Northeastern…I know, I know, lots of reaches. But hey, if I can land one of those reaches, I’m happy (check back 9 months from now when I’m in the fetal position from all the rejections).</p>
<p>Have any of you actually started your essays? I started to start one this afternoon, haha, but I’m gonna start for real next week.</p>
<p>I am not excited for rejections, especially because everyone around me is going to be more surprised than me - they all think I’m a genius. I’m actually betting $40 against myself for UChicago with two of my friends. We have a contract.</p>
