Lol it’s in New York, about 45 minutes away from Manhattan, more towards Queens. It’s on Long Island (NY).

School tomorrow…

^that sucks! At least I still have 15 more days but with all my summer work i already feel like summer is over =(

I start school tomorrow too :(

I’m making progress I guess.

When today ends for my senior project I’ll just have the common app essay (again, it won’t be my final one, it will just be a stupid 20 minute one because my school grades summer work realllllllyyyyyyyy easily). I’ll also be up to page 180 in my book (though I didn’t start my journals…)

I attended a private school my whole life and at the beginning of high school, but I’m a senior and now I go to a public school. I have no idea how many people are in my class (less than 320). Does anyone have advice for me to meet and make new friends? I can’t play my sports either since I’m a transfer :(

Lucky! I’m on my 3rd week of school. Have a good first day :)

Walk into school and start quoting Mean Girls.

^ Yup, that should help you out haha. Try to make a friend or two early in the day so you have someone to hangout with during lunch and then you’ll meet their friends and so on. Join some clubs, ect, ect.

UChicago sent me a t-shirt in the mail; I thought that was kind of cool. I love when I get interesting college mail.

I haven’t gotten any shirts… most I’ve gotten is a car bumper sticker from Univ. of Oklahoma…

swizzle: Won’t you tell us which one of us got your name??? ;)

My friend and I got asked if we were freshmen by sophomores today at lunchO_o

Thanks for the help :)

Daaaaaannnggg…

Thi year we have a smaller class of seniors and a large class of freshman. 2013 is outnumbered by an influx of yappy kids.

Yeah, it was awkward. When I told him we were seniors, he said, “Oh, are you going to UF? You should. It’s a great party school.”

My class has ~130-140 kids in it.

There are 503 in my class and 900 in the freshmen class. We started out with 900 too, but many got pregnant, dropped out, switched schools, went to prison, etc., etc.

There’s 350 in my class, but last year there were near 400.

But at my sister’s old high her class was 1300. And in our town we had three senior high schools. So imagine 1300 times 3. A lot of kids, bro. A lot of kids.

There’s like 550 kids in my entire school.

All three of you guys guessed my name! lol

My school is a lot smaller than the average public school in my area. Everywhere else within a 30 minute radius of my town has upwards of 1700-3000 kids in it, while my school has 700.
