<p>So guys, just rediscovered a summer program I found last year and had planned on applying for this year. The application has been out since January and scholarships are granted on a first come, first serve basis. It’s $1200, which my family definitely cannot afford. Gahhh.</p>
<p>btw, you guys don’t have to reply to this. Just felt like ranting.</p>
<p>What’s the program about? Haha</p>
<p>It’s basically just a summer enrichment program for gifted kids. Not CTY or TIP or anything. I seriously need to do something this summer so I’m frantically searching.</p>
<p>I wanted to go to a program for health sciences but it was $2,000.00.</p>

Kinda sucks since this is around the time that everyone’s getting them off but hey, better late than never.</p>
<p>Ohh…Good luck! I got mine’s over winter break which was nice, since they hurt a lot. I made a rather stupid choice of not taking any Advil, Tylenol, or any other pain killer etc. when I got my braces on, which you might want to (or you can live through the pain like I did :)) I’m so glad I’m done with braces now and all I have is a retainer.</p>
<p>Yeah I’ll be getting braces soon which sucks! </p>

<p>@Chrisplak Yeah, I’ve received stuff like that before (don’t buy into it by the way; it’s a joke), but I’m talking about a different program at my local university.</p>
<p>@Highschooler2016 I’ll have mine on for 18 months at most. So they’ll be off by junior year.</p>

<p>Speaking of majors I have no idea what I want to major in, although I do know that I for sure want to take the pre-med path.
