@Apollo11: Being from New England, I’m pretty use to the weather they have in Ithaca. My parents both went and inspired me to look into Cornell.

As for majors, I have no idea.

^I too am from New England!

@Apollo11 I didn’t really mentioned it actually xP besides I never posted a lot here until recently

What they said.

@Apollo Oh yeah? Wanna know something even better? A 90-100 is considered a A (and consequently a 4/5) at my school! :D

^Lol, I’ve gotten so many 92.4’s this year, its insane!

BTW, @whostolemycookie: Yay! Now I’m not that far behind!

In my school in Canada an A is anything between 80-100%…yeah pretty crazy. And because of that everyone is really lax and a lot of people aren’t that into education and stuff (no intellectually stimulating convo’s, etc…) You guys have that too?

@Swinter: Ah…I see

This gives away my school so please no one kidnap me, but here’s a link. http://www.mycentennialcounseling.com/?page_id=1732

I go to an ‘engineering/I.T’ high school, but a very select few [10-15] are interested in a top-25 college at all [out of 195+] and only 5-10 will actually remain on that path/with that intention.

However, I have great talks with these people and with my teachers

@Highschool2016:

I posted photos of my school. Literally every possible angle. Plus if you were from my school, you would know me in a heartbeat.

But Swinter showed her face, so she loses.

^ So envious…I really wish I could go somewhere like that. Course selection at my school isn’t very great… The best shot I had was applying to IB but at the time I was too scared and not motivated enough to study for it…

^Lol, my school is a joke. Many thought it was a technical high school…

We have like 11 AP’s maximum [Really like 5] and 0.5% go top 10’s annually…

Compared to 30%+ at top prep schools…

Oh well, I’m making the best of it and doing some crazy things

@Apollo hey, i have nothing to hide! plus, i figure that i probably look like the typical asian girl so nobody will really care.

My school is alright, I’m eligible to take every AP. We don’t do so good at any academic competitions though. I really want to do Debate but they don’t have it at my school. Anyone in debate right now?

It can’t be that bad… My school has no AP’s/Honours/Enriched and everyone here doesn’t care at ALL about school. LOL, CC is like my safe haven. Keeps me from going insane xD

@Swinter:

Lol, its camouflage!!

@Halibo:

Our debate team is remarkable. My sister and I competed at the highest level in our state against the top schools [preppy types] in the country and win. It’s a thrill and several people from our league go to the Yale Debate Association

@likingyou:

This random pothead in my class thinks she is going to Harvard…with a 2.1 GPA.

BTW, the courses at my school are bolstered due to some of our students being nationally ranked, business owning programmer types.

For example, my friend once broke into a school monitoring software with government-level encryption.

But none of them are doing AP Comp Sci!!!

@Highschooler2016:

I saw the link. And I was confused.

@Apollo11 Lol another hacking story: I took a ComTech class last semester and at the time Youtube was blocked at our school, so this guy overrides the security code by using a teachers pass he saw earlier and was like “YO WHAT UP GUYS. I UNLOCKED YOUTUBE” for his friends to hear, but the teacher was standing right behind him. It was hilarious xD

^Lol!

The thing is is that in my case, my friend **got a job and internship for hacking into their code and then using that code [the program is a remote-controller of other computers] to mess with other students **
