<p>I just got home from school. WOW, I’m tempted to sit here and just type up a whole essay about my first day lol, but overall it was good. I like my teachers but I don’t have a chemistry teacher yet and that class itself is huge. As for my AP class, the quizzes are open notes but they’re only worth 20% while test and projects are worth 65%. Right now I think if I can keep up and stay organized with my classes this year I’ll be able to get through the year.</p>
<p>Hey guys I need help. So all of my teachers are scary and I’m missing the next week of school for a trip. I didn’t tell some of them (French, accounting, chem). Today was my first day of school so I just met them. I think I might email my chem teacher and ask if he could email me some of the work. I talked to the principal b4 school ended last year and he okay Ed the trip. So can you make me a template or something to email them. What do I say? Idk. What would you say? Something professional sounding. Ill be back next Thursday btw. Thanks</p>

<p>I was recently approved last school year by (insert principal’s name here) to be able to take (insert how long you’ll be away here) off from school for (insert why you’re leaving here). I understand however that missing these days of school could result to me being behind. I apologize and would definately not like to start the school year off this way. <p>The wording could have been different or better I guess but I just thought of that I as I went a long. It’s short, simple and to the point though.</p>
<p>I want to take a nap sooooooo badly but I know I’ll end up sleeping for two hours or so. I think I’ll try and do a 10 minute nap with an alarm clock on my phone. One of my goals this year is to not spend so much time sleeping after school. I’m tired but I don’t want to use up all of my time like this. Hopefully I’ll be able to go to sleep a lot earlier(?) tonight.</p>

@letmeseetheworld- hahaha Try to finish your homework quickly so that you can sleep earlier and longer! And 65% on projects? That’s so cool! It’s weird because only a few of my teachers assign projects

<p>I got my soph year schedule today and spent almost the whole day comparing schedules with friends and going on Facebook to see who I have the same classes with hahaah I can’t believe I’m starting school soon too! I’ll be just like you guys!</p>
<p>Yet another '16 here~ </p>
<p>What’s with all those lunch periods? At my school we get 8 class periods - for classes specifically - and a separate (aka “ninth”) lunch period is taken for granted. </p>
<p>On another note, school started two weeks ago for me x___e;; I got my schedule back in april ahahaha (electronic self-scheduling). </p>
<p>I need some shut-eye.</p>
<p>I tried not taking naps after school and just going straight to homework and I still get to bed at 12:25, I think Im doing something wrong…maybe coming on here too often.</p>
<p>Today was my last and only day of school before the trip so I can’t talk to them now. I had all new teachers that id never met before and it was a little scary. I assumed the principal would inform them and they would have gotten some stuff together, but none of them knew. My physics teacher said to just catch up when I got back because he hasn’t copied and packets yet. My algebra teacher chuckled and printed a WS. My world history teacher stated at me and was like really? Really?. And he only knows the lesson plan until Thursday. My English teacher told me to ask him after class, said he was going to do this one short story, but wasn’t sure which questions to assign yet. So I’m screwed. My French teacher is scary and I can just see her being furious so I didn’t tell her. There was no opportunity in chem or accounting.</p>
<p>My 10min nap turned into an hour… I’m not complaining through, that’s better than usual and I think I’ll be able to gradually decrease that. Plus I still have a few hours to finish my work. I just don’t want to pull all nighters or do anything else ridiculous this year because I don’t know how to manage my time or whatever. </p>
<p>And HighSchool2016, have you tried some supplement sources like crash course or Princeton review to use in class with you?</p>
<p>And 55al00m, I understand you might be feeling worried or stress but if I were I would say one, to hell with you guys I’m going to enjoy my trip and two, just figure it out when you get back. Take it easy!</p>

<p>My first day is Wednesday Sep 4th, but there’s no school for us on the 5th and 6th so our second day of school is the following Monday Sep 9th lol My first day is also a half day (y) I love my school hahaha</p>

<p>Lol oh I got my ap books today. (Euro & apush here… the science etc. aps were full – incoming sophomores always get the leftover classes) I’m also in calc ab, but I’m just taking that because the precal H classes I was considering all filled. I’m not planning on taking the AP test, so I didn’t buy a book or anything.</p>

<p>Well they aren’t answering me and I accidentally spelled my name wrong, so that’s nice. The n & m are right next to each other and I was on my phone when I put the email account on my phone. I ended my last name with N instead of M. Great huh?</p>
<p>My English teacher answered. I think I’m going to like him. I like my math teacher also. Not sure about physics and chem As classes I’m kind of scared. ill like the physics teacher idk about chem.</p>
<p>I got my schedule today. They gave me regular pe even though I requested a schedule change from my counselor before the summer.</p>
<p>How has everyone’s sophomore years been going? This year’s gonna be a struggle! Freshman year was such a breeze compared to this.</p>
