My school starts at 7:20 and ends at 2:05…I wish we could all meet each other in real life!!!

Do you guys want to compare schedules and give advice
wait let’s all post our projected senior year schedules!
Who wants to?

^Bassonapus!! I actually kind of have in mind my senior year schedule!! LOL!! I’m glad I’m not the only one!!! I haven’t gotten my schedule for 9th grade yet so…

Senior year’s a long way aha (well, shorter for me :D), but this is what I’ll most likely take:
-AP English 4 (just another name for AP Lit & Comp at my school)
-AP Calculus BC or AP Statistics
-AP Physics B or Dual Enrollment Biology
-AP Latin 4 (a 2-year course following AP Latin 3 junior year)
-AP European History
-Either Honors Creative Writing or AP Psychology for an elective

How about you guys?

9th grade:

Honors English
Honors Biology
Spanish II (guaranteed spot)
Accelerated Math 1
Debate (possible spot)

PE/Health

If I didn’t get Debate as the elective, it’d be Computer Apps or Business Essentials ( I can’t remember which one I picked)

My college (Dream) list would be:

Vanderbilt
Wake Forest
Georgetown

Emory

then I want to apply to an HBCU cause that’s where my parents went and I sorta want to go to one or two.

Those would be FAMU & Howard. Then the other schools i’d apply to are Mississippi St. And Xavier & maybe MIZZOU. Hmm…that’s the first time I’ve given some serious narrowing down of my college choices. I don’t like it: Returns to Freshman World

For my senior year, I think this is how it would look:

AP stats
Anatomy and physiology or AP physics
AP lit or AP Lang
Band
AP Euro
AP French or French v
Some elective, maybe gourmet cuisine or intro to engineering

I’ll probably apply to most Ivy League schools, but I definitely won’t go to Harvard if I get accepted. Don’t ask me why…it’s probably just a phase thing. I’ll apply to my state college as a backup, and I’ll also apply to some UC schools.

@TheAtlantic Are you talking about the Xavier in Ohio? (Are there even any other Xaviers?) I live pretty close to Xavier, alot closer than I thought I did.

Mhmm in Ohio. I was born In Ohio (though I moved before I was 2)

If I don’t do music theory:

ap comp sci
ap env sci
ap lit
ap ush
sp micro
band
honors french 4

yeah I’ll be a little behind in french, but I’ll also be self studying AP latin

Self Study AP Latin?
That seems really ambitious.
lol, I’d be scared to do that

wait, do you guys think the self studying latin will cover the foreign language requirement for colleges?

omgomgomg
this would be my schedule if I quit music theory and french

I WOULD LOVE THIS SO MUCH

alg II ap calc ab ap calc bc ???/ (done all math at school, DE? or fun elective :P)
phys sci chem ap phys b ap phys c
h h ap lang ap lit
h h ap euro ap ush
band band band band
bio ap chem _____ ART
precalc ap stats ap comp sci ap microeconomics

How about a math course (unless comp sci counts as one)?

Nevermind…and you’re confusing me now.

LOL the ap latin would be after three years of self studying Latin I II and III

and Comp Sci counts as a math credit I’ve heard that it is very calculus based, which is why

Oh okay, I see. I’m sorta less confused now.

sorry about the format on my 4 year shcedule post… i did have spaces there but they dissappeared! :(gdfg

I know this varies from state to state, but how many APs do you think you need to atleast have a shot at AP state scholar?

@Bassoon: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/546263-three-years-modern-language-does-latin-count.html

and the only thing I’m semi-sure of is having AP Spanish senior year, I"ll check my school website for the rest

Ap National is 8, so less than that
I didn’t know it varied by state :I
Please answer my question - will AP latin cover my foreign language requirement? I’ll ask my guidance counselor, but I want to know if this is a stupid question beforehand, in case she laughs me out of her office.

Oops! Thank you atlanta i love you!!!

I’d still check w/ counselor to be sure. The thread seemed kinda vague

Yeah, you’re right
Also do you guys have siblings? I have a twin. What were their schedules? Here is my twin’s schedule:

english I
Algebra IB (second half of algebra, but lasts a whole class)
physical science
social studies
band
chorus
Honors French I

He’s not an over acheiver. But I love him anyways (^-^)
