No, sadly I only take Spanish. I might take more languages at a community college.
@Cookiesandcreme If you love both equally, then I’d go with journalism. Writing is always really important to improve, and it seems that you’d gain a lot more out of that class. You could always try learning an instrument on your own in your free time. Plus it seems to me (from your post) that you have a greater passion for writing, so I’d go with that.
@gotmar I take Latin~
@praeda Are you going to NJCL convention?
huh, any other '18ers? You’d expect this thread to be more active…
I am here! I know, I thought it was gonna be more active too. @Stalasphyx64
@aspiringgirl @Stalasphyx64 I’m here too! Ok, a poll:
Who’s taking AP classes? How many, and which ones?
Have you taken the exam yet? What do you expect to get?
@gotmar I have 2 AP classes. AP Biology & AP Goverment & Poltics, I expect to get a high 4 or a low 5.
I feel like were inactive most of the time. I think I’ve posted more stuff in the Class of 2019…
Haha I know but. What do you guys want to talk about?
What state are you all from? I am from Oklahoma.
I’m from California.
I’m also from california, are any of you doing any summer school,programs or trips to anywhere?
I love visiting California! I am doing a couple medical camps, volunteering at a hospital, and I made Colorguard(most of my summer). We are going to be in the Rose Bowl Parade! What are your favorite things to do?
Wow so lucky! I couldn’t find any summer programs that my family could afford. But I am traveling to Nigeria this summer
I’m from Wisconsin. No summer programs really except NJCL Convention, but I’ll be volunteering, doing a triathlon challenge, and teaching myself French 2.
All the medical camps that I am going to are free. We can’t afford them either. Nigeria should be fun! @Cookiesandcreme What is the triathlon challenge? I wanted to teach myself Spanish 2. But good luck! @gotmar
@aspiringgirl It’s basically an Ironman triathlon over the course of a month, so you need to bike 5 or 10 miles a day, run 2, swim 6 laps, etc.
That sounds fun! @gotmar
Does anyone know how to approach a professor about working in a lab? Or which professor to ask?
