Yeah, the first few weeks of Physics suck. But you’ll adapt to the material. Much of first semester builds upon itself. 2nd semester… not so much. Although, I did become more scientifically inclined between my sophomore and junior summer. But trust me, Physics isn’t that bad.

WHAP is normal for 10th grade
Psych- 2nd semester
Seminar- many 10th graders at my school take it
@wonderfulreads I just use the practice test the college board posts. Im going to take the March SAT (1st new one)
Don’t take the October sat, it is still the old one, and it will be outdated when you go to college.
I have the barrons calc book, and ITS SOOO HARD!
@pianoswim It being the old SAT is the reason I’m taking it. If the old SAT is the only standerized test I can do well on for some reason, then I will go with my score. Sophomore year is not outdated, if the score is high enough (because people generally don’t get dumber). I also need a new ACT/SAT score for the community college to take classes (my seventh grade one is actually “outdated”).
What have you guys finished in calculus? We are on application of derivatives.

writing 700
on the new sat however my reading and math were both 760, which is better than my scores on the old sat. : 1520 vs 2190
Yeah, in calculus, we are doing Related Rates on Monday and Application of Derivatives afterwards

I feel so horrible.
AP Spanish went horrible because my teacher tells me that I don’t do anything apparently even though I kept turning in assignments and I have a horrible grade. But grades aren’t due in 3 weeks (for him) and how can improve? I’m gonna talk to the teacher on Thursday about this because this looks horrible.

@cxprus If you think your grade is horrible than work hard for the last three weeks and then… IMPROVEMENT! Just improve during the school year. Colleges like that!

I mean I speak it at home, but I feel that I am capable. I’m in the 6th week of school and the teacher turns in grades when the grade window opens on October 8th. (apparently)
That means I have three weeks and he said if this is an issue then he’s gonna change me. (Which I don’t want to)

I feel incredibly tired after a night of volunteering. What music do you guys listen to to help you unwind?
Also, I dislike that my school is prejudiced against all the people who aren’t in the honors courses. It irritates me when they say nasty barbs to the people in the lower level classes.
My school is definitely a grade-deflating school there are kids with 2000 SAT’s who go to CC, and yes they should have worked harder but their GPA’s are definitely deflated, i’m motivated to overcome this scenario? I listen to mainstream hip hop music like Lifestyle, trap queen, Hot nigga, etc
@Kelvin82 It does impact my grade but the lowest quiz grade will be dropped, so hopefully this quiz is the one. I also agree, that is why my school does not provide honors/AP classes, because everyone should be looked at as equal.
@Kelvin92 He also said I can take you out of AP Spanish if you keep it up. Apparently he’s the head of the world languages department – If you want me to speak it here’s an example:
