The sophomore slump got me. My Geometry grade is horrible, I feel miserable.
The only issue was the tests. The teacher doesn’t explain it, so we have to find it and 70% who are doing the curriculum aren’t up to par with the standards.
@mamba that’s cool. i’m taking them the fall of my senior year, since i plan on applying EA to my dream college (i’m planning so early, ughhhhh). i kinda feel like taking the sat this spring, even though i would already be taking it next fall.
i realize that i probably should do the practice test, but i don’t 100% want to, even though i do want to do it. idk. guess i’ll see how well i do tomorrow in december.

@cxprus Common core killed my geo honors class last year only 30 percent of kids ended up getting an A or a B in the class a stark contrast to the approximately 70 percent that had gotten A’s or B’s the year before
Algebra 2 is way easier so far for me though
The PSAT killed me 
I didn’t completely finish any of the sections, and I didn’t even fill in random bubbles for the ones I missed. At least it doesn’t really matter until next year 
I did a lot better at the math than the English for sure.

@LosingCrayon @awesomepolyglot I finished with 5 min remaining on the reading, writing, and calculator math sections, but I didn’t have the time to finish the last question of the non-calculator math section.

I left one answer blank because I ran out of time on the calculator portion. The English and reasoning seemed most easy to me.

I finished the reading section 30 minutes early (I’m a very fast reader) and was bored so I decided to draw a cat. I can’t draw AT ALL, so the eyes looked very demonic. I started to draw the body and it looked like a turtle, so I was like “lol whatevs” and filled in details so I had a Demon Turtle Cat. Underneath it, I wrote “You ask for my Social Security number, I give you Demon Turtle Cat! U mad, College Board?” It made me laugh way too hard.
We started our PSAT at 7:20 in the morning and I ended up finishing both english portions super early (I took a half hour nap). But then the Math portion came and I just totally blanked. I didn’t even finish the non-calculator and barely finished the calculator. Definitely got a super lower score on Math :(. Thank god it doesn’t really matter this year.
@cxprus If you ever really need help with Geometry I did really really good in that class so feel free to PM me. Also try khanacademy it helped me a lot for Algebra 1 and I know they have a geometry portion also.
We didn’t have to fill in our Social Security numbers, @awesomepolyglot. December is what I’ve heard for test results.
