High School Class of 2019

I feel so dumb because my school doesn’t offer any honors courses and you can’t take AP till 10th grade. However it is a small college prep boarding and day school.

Next year I will take

Geometry
Latin 1
Biology
World History
English 9

Graphic design on b days and News Paper on A days
Gym( We can’t get out of even if we do a sport)

I’m actually graduating high school this year (Class of 2015). But here’s my advice to freshman:

  1. Develop Good Study Habits (ESPECIALLY important for AP Class)
  2. Ask Questions in Class
  3. Join Extracurricular's you are ACTUALLY passionate about, not just to pad your resume. This will help you make more friends.
  4. If you don't like your current school, move to a different one if possible.
  5. Its not the end of the world if you don't get a 4.0: Nobody is perfect

I got my Honors English summer reading work today. It seems like a lot…

Class of 2016 here

First off, your freshman schedules look so powerful you make me feel like I did nothing o_o
Second, please ask for advice from upperclassmen because they’ve been where you’ve been
Lastly, don’t procrastinate! Procrastination is probably the only thing that will hold you back from doing what you want to do.

Idk what ^ is talking about. Always procrastinate.

My school is finally done with final exams. They were REALLY easy but long. Also, we are graduating tomorrow.

I’ve been out since June 11th. Pretty proud of my final exam results.

Dont slack freshman year! It’s the easiest year as long as you study.

Hi guys, another incoming freshman here! My schedule for next year:

English 1 - High Honors
Geometry - High Honors
Latin 2 - Honors
Physical Science - Honors
World History - High Honors
Dance 1 & 2 - Honors
Freshman Seminar

(I’m going into a program that requires me to take all honors and above.)

I wish my school had high honors

So I might be going to H French 3 next year. I took a placement exam and accorded to my teacher I passed. But I don’t trust him. He’s a really bad teacher.

Giovuhnni, when do you find out if you’re in the class or not?

Guys, we made it…

…out of middle school.

@Radiant i don’t even know. I will have to call my high school counselor soon.

Do you guys have any summer assignments?

I have none so I’m glad

I changed my picture, YOLO. Now I’m worried that someone I know will find me…oh well.

I have to read 3 books and do a 6-page math packet. Not too bad.

I have to read one book and do a whole packet of work w/ a project.

Man I feel old… Look, as the incoming freshman it is your job not to screw this up! Don’t be the typical immature freshman and focus on your academics! That’s pretty much it so make me proud! :stuck_out_tongue:
