High School Class of 2019

No I am taking AP Human Geo. A bunch of people say they hate it but others say its great.

Oh @Giovuhnni what is DE?

DE is Dual Enrollment. It’s when a high school student takes college classes at a community college or university.

@OneExcitedDude I’m going to do MUN next year. my school does a few national conferences so I might see some of you haha

@FoodIsLife13, lol not even I knew.

And @IAmNotCreativ, where are you gonna take them?

Yeah, I’m probably going to 1 or 2 conferences. This year I did a state one and it was really great.

@Giovuhnni I’m taking them at MC.

I’m not sure what ECs I’m going to do next year, but I want to be involved in theater (maybe try out for the musical), debate, and SciOly. I will probably join other clubs as well, I just don’t know which ones.

So what are everyone’s plans for the summer?
I plan on going to an engineering camp run by my county and volunteering.
I might also study part of my science, history, and spanish curriculum for next year so the school year would be less stressful.

I don’t have anything planned for the summer. Probably get a job, go a few places, and volunteer a little.

I’m doing summer school (Algebra II), volunteering, sports summer camp, study chemistry and world history curriculum. Maybe go to mexico and visit my family.

Hi @HSTeen: if you are doing Algebra II in the summer, what math course will you register for in Sep 2015? Will you do Pre Calculus? Algebra II is usually for grade 10, right?

@Pikabobs Yes I will be registered in Precalculus. At my school Precalc is for juniors or for the (10th Grade)Gifted and talented students (I’m none) and for sophomores it usually Algebra II Trig. I’m currently a freshmen btw.

I can’t wait until school is over, but there’s still 35+ days left.

Same. I’m so bored, since we’re just doing petty things.

Can someone rate my schedule?

LM = Lower Mid, which means Freshman.
Thirds: level below JV

H LM English
Intermediate Dance
Algebra 2 & Trig
A Spanish 1
Approaches to History (Social Studies)
A Physics

Sports: thirds volleyball (fall), thirds basketball (winter) and either track & field or intramural tennis in the spring.

I have to take 6 AP’s to graduate my High School. This ought to be an interesting Journey.

This summer I’m doing theatre camp and Les Miserables and likely volunteering at an animal shelter. I have a job lined up too

@izzygrace Why?

hey I just found this discussion (while procrastinating studying for my geometry eoc on Tuesday lol) but here’s my schedule.

AP human geography
English 2 honors
Debate 1 honors
Chemistry honors

I’m going to start the IB program in high school, so I won’t have a life until I graduate :((

Its to early for you people to be worrying about graduation. Its bad for your health, and your swag

It’s never too early to be aware.
