I’m also trying to transfer my school. I applied to a high school in nyc with a 1.7% admissions rate. ~X( realistically I’m not going to get in but I just wanted to try. I applied for about 5 other competitive schools and 3 less selective schools. I get my results in March everyone wish me luck. 
Finally, winter break. I currently have all A’s, and my lowest grade is a 93.

Happy New Year to all! I can’t believe it’s 2018 already! I turn 15 in February, I’m super excited for that.
I applied to my first job today!! I really hope they hire me. They pay $8.50 an hour which would be super nice because I want to build a computer but I need money.

Our school is the worst when it comes to snow days. We only get them when the principal is gone. Still, at least I get to return to my beloved Quiz Bowl.
Oh well. I don’t live in the States, so my school opened last week.

Anyone taking APs now???
No APs are offered to freshman here. I’m taking AP Stats and Bio next year, though.
No APs at all at my school. No honors classes either. But we can do dual enrollment at the college our school is connected to, so I guess that’s pretty cool.
My school doesn’t offer AP, it’s an IB World School, but I’m self-studying Psychology right now, exam in May.
I am so happy! I got a 97/100 on my major essay! I received a 123/140 on my last major paper, so this is a big improvement.
