Hi! I’m a rising junior and am trying to select classes for next year, but I have a question. I’m fully involved in the engineering programs offered at my school, and I really want to take architecture next year, but in order to do that, I would have to drop Spanish. I’m currently taking Spanish 3 H and next year would be taking Spanish 4 H. Is it worth it to drop Spanish and not complete the 4 years of languages that are recommended for colleges in order to diversify my engineering spectrum? I also take PLTW engineering classes and AP computer science.
In other words, are foreign language classes as important as they are said to be? Thanks!
