I'm a rising freshman and I would like to start a club at my school. Any ideas? Most of the basic clubs are already established but my school is only 6 years old, so list whatever ideas you have!

Well, what are you passionate about?

Math, science, rwally anything is fine. It would also be better if the club is an international organization or club already…

The worst thing to do is to form a club based off of what you think would look best on your résumé. Develop a genuine passion for something, then start a club for it.

I wouldn’t make a club solely for the sake of making a club. Make sure it’s something you’re really interested in doing. As for ideas, if you’re in the Southeastern United States, I’d advocate SECME. Business Professionals of America is interesting if you’re into that sort of competition. There’s Science Olympiad, which I have no personal experience with. You could also try making a club based on something that students don’t normally have the chance to participate in, like programming or creative writing, etc.
