High school courses (Considering Pre-Vet)

I am a high school junior and I’m considering veterinary science and vet school after undergrad. What APs should I take in senior year?
I was thinking of

  1. AP Biology, AP Stats, AP Environmental Science
    OR
  2. AP Bio, AP Calculus AB

I am taking AP Chemistry and AP Psychology this year. I’m also taking physics, but I’m extremely weak at it so I don’t want to take AP Physics.
Most likely will take AP Bio, AP Stats and AP Environmental Science (my school’s max amount of APs per year is three)

I’m not sure about AP Environmental Science, does it in any way help to have an extra science? I heard it’s an easier AP compared to Chem, Physics and Bio. Would Environmental Science help me in (in terms of veterinary sciences)?Or should I take another humanities AP (like Econ)?
Would Stats be less helpful than Calc?

Thank you so much in advance and sorry for the countless questions!

AP Biology 100% sure. Between AP Stats and AP Calculus it is a toss up. Many vet schools require one or the other (and some neither). I would look at the requirements for the vet schools you are interested in applying to some day and see if the majority require one or the other more. I would then take that one to get it out of the way. My guess is that AP Calculus is going to be the choice because some undergraduate classes have math requirements and they give you the lower level class credit when you pass the AP with a good score. Something else to look at in the colleges you may be applying to. Honestly AP Environmental Science isn’t really needed unless you are trying to get a higher GPA from it. The class will just be an elective credit for most pre-vet related degrees. The admission to pre-vet programs won’t think the extra science is as important as your SAT or ACT score, GPA, and animal experience. The exception might be UCDavis but since my son didn’t look at that school I’m not sure. He is pre-vet right now.
