I'm debating on whether I should do crew this spring with these other obligations.
1. class president
2. 6 courses
3. church on Wednesdays & Sundays
4. crew is everyday after school from 4pm - 6pm</p>
<p>Please let me know your advice on whether I should take crew or not. My grandparents think I shouldn't. I want to try something new though. I don't want my grades to fall as a result.</p>
<p>Do it!!! You can always drop out if you have to, but colleges and for yourself, would be better off doing something you enjoy than just grades</p>
<p>Unless you’re a really big procrastinator, go for it. I know some people in crew who have a lot of trouble doing all of their homework because of the time restraints presented by crew coupled with a lot of procrastination. Considering that you are a part of this forum and that you have aspirations to be class president, you are probably a lot more driven to succeed than those who I previously mentioned though, so you should be fine :)</p>
<p>If you have had similar commitments in years past, and this year (besides the Crew, of course) how have you dealt with it?</p>
<p>If you’re finding with your current schedule that you have a lot of free time, then go for it! If you scramble to finish your work by 1am, probs not a good idea to add something else on.</p>
