High School doesn't use Naviance

Our high school guidance office said they do not have naviance for the common app.
I requested information about teacher recommendations and naviance.

So... the guidance office told us to do the common app as a paper application. This is going to cost us more money. We are planning to call the college admissions offices for a second opinion. I am thinking that we can use the common app online version and then have the teachers send the recommendations separately by mail. Any thoughts?

You don’t have to submit it as a paper application just because they don’t use Naviance

Yes you can do this as well. Also, you can have the teachers do it online. I responded to your question in the other thread as well

Haha don’t even start me on this. My current school does Naviance. But I just moved here for senior year. The past one didn’t. So I’m expected to show all of my teacher recs and **** on the online common app because the current one does Naviance, but I can’t put them on there because they’re from a different fricking school.

It’s this whole thing, and I really hate how exclusive this technology is. It’s making this process much harder than it needs to be to sort things out.

jgraider… thanks… we have one more ACT on Oct. 23rd and then we will hit the send button.
