high school football

do you guys ever go to any of your games?

Haha...to be honest, I've never gone to a single h.s. football game in my life, and they're not too popular among other students. In fact, they've diminished so much in popularity over the years that last fall, that someone made up this rumor that Paris Hilton would attend one of the football games. Even then, the bleachers remained virtually empty.

Personally, I'd rather go to my school's varsity bowling bowling team competitions--much more fun to watch...

Yes. I play in them.

i found that your school sux if your football team sucks... anybody else feel that vibe?

no, my school is awesome we have gr8 bball and water polo teams but our football teams sucks

The only thing bigger than football in this town is basketball.

I wish I'd gone to more games this year. We're really into school pride and we play at this great stadium--it's all stone and old and it looks like something out of Friday Night Lights. If we were any more into football, we'd have to move to Texas.

And that's how I like it.

I played in a stadium featured in Friday Night Lights.

Shotwell Stadium in Abilene, TX.

Home of the Eagles and Cougars.

Football is a big deal in my school. I don't think I have missed more than 3 of the home games since I was a freshman. I like the game and our team is pretty good. I loved the movie Friday Night Lights.

I've never been to a football game - I've seen them practice before... 2 years ago when I was running for my old XC team. :o

I was drumline leader of the marching band. I never really went to the games. Our drumline is better than our football team. We only play at homecoming and the Tech bowl.

The high school I went to last year won state this year for football, but I never went to the games because there was major competition between the school and the rival. Rich kids mooning each other = not that great.

I live in Texas, so I never miss a game.

i went to 2 last year, but our school went 0-5 in season LOL

Deviant, the band wasn't at the games? That's, like, blasphemy.

My football team has won the state championship the past two years. We are amazing. www.mansfieldfootball.org.

i go to all of them! Here it's the social event of the year...pretty sad huh...but this year i had to go cuz my bf plays.

Life is a microcosm of high school football.

I went to all the games, since I was playing in them. I miss it like hell already.

I went to as many of the football games as I could, traveling up to an hour away sometimes. I had some friends on the team, but I love high school sports and I'm a big football fan, so I enjoyed the games. It was less of a social engagement for me as it was for many kids at my school though.

Now I'm big into basketball games, I go to as many home games as I can.

I live in Hosuton, Texas and we arent really into football. Our team sucks. I never have been to one of their games.

I used to live in Texas... enough said. so if i didnt actually play on the field, i'd go to all the home games and alot of the away games... our school has a pretty big following at our games, even if it is seen as a time to talk to your friends more than watch the game.
