I know what you mean. I have some friends (twins) who are like 5'10" and 115 pounds. They did get help, but they're kind of regressing, which completely sucks. I don't know what I should do. I'm not that close to them; they're pretty much school-friends, but still.

i hate skinny people. cuz i'm not one of them. ;)

grossly skinny is unhealthy, but grossly fat is worse.

Her BMI is 14.5.

for perspective: Underweight <18.5

She should weigh

oops, it cut me off

she should weigh AT LEAST 115, though that seems kinda low to me.

it depends on the body type/race/build/etc. I'm 5'6/115 and it's average I think.

I'm 5'10 and I weigh 130 and I am a guy. So your twins are not skinny.

What's BMI? Bone mass integral?

Yeah, true. I weigh about 130-ish, and as far as I know I'm healthy.

Body mass index.

uh, yeah, that is skinny for a girl of 5'10

martha 130-ish with clothes on or off

5'5 115 here, i like my body though, fat in all the right places hahah

she's seriously so skinny though . . everytime she wears a low cut shirt, you can see all the bones of her upper chest . .

So why were they sent to a different town for 6 months to stay at an eating disorder rehab center?

One of them had a resting heart beat of 38 I believe. I think their body fat % was somewhere around 7. I think it's up to 10-11 now. It's very scary. They honestly did look like they just came out of a concentration camp.

that is way skinny

besides, the female body was made to carry more fat. 115 is the bare essentials at most for a tall girl.

Yeah, they're not capable of having children anymore.

that's terrible :(.

that's really really sad

It's funny how this thread changes so quickly

Spam is good.

funny, I was seriously contemplating purchasing a can of Spam at the store today, just to see how it tasted.

anyone know first hand?

It is a salty and not very appetizing meat. I tried one can and threw it out. Obviously National Geographic must like it because they have carried their ads for more than 30 years.

lol yeah i noticed about half the cans said "25% less sodium" or something like that, so i figured the Na content was high.
