What do I need to work on? As a freshman, what should I focus on throughout high school? What are summer activites I should try to get under my belt? I absolutely love computer science and tech, as well as finance and polisci. Any critiques and feedback would be much appreciated

As a freshman you’re looking great. I’d say just keep up the grades and try to get 4.0UW since sophomore and junior year are essential and take SAT AND ACT because you might do better in one or the other. Extracurriculars wise, great start. Just use what you have and build on it. Win awards, change the community whether small or big. Good luck!

You’re doing great. Just keep it up. One thing I wish I had really known about the admissions process at the beginning of high school is that it’s far better to be a specialized applicant with especially impressive accomplishments in a particular area rather than a broad, strong, well-rounded applicant. As an indian, it’s especially important to distinguish yourself. Keep focusing on cs, finance, and polysci, and try to find ways to integrate all your interests. For example, try interning at your state govt with a focus on financing and fundraising. Be sure to accumulate interesting, unique experiences that admissions officers rarely see.
